We receive information about your Slack team, profile information, and ideas that are posted via the /idea slash command.

When ideas are saved, we store the text of the idea as well as the channel it was posted in and other metadata.

Ideas can collect comments, questions, and a list of people interested in keeping track of the idea.

All connections between ideabot.co and Slack are made over valid secure connections.

We use information you provide to authenticate you and deliver message content to you and from you and your Slack team.

We store information and metadata about ideas in order to share them with your team. Your team's ideas will not be shared with 3rd parties.

We don't store the full messages or profiles sent from Slack, but only the bits that we need in order to present the ideas back to you.

You can disconnect Ideabot from your Slack team at any time, which will render the ideas submitted to Ideabot as inaccessible.
